- 7wireVentures, a venture capital firm, known for its commitment to fostering innovation in the healthcare sector, has recently raised a new investment vehicle – a $217M Growth & Opportunity Fund (GO Fund).
- Pollin Fertility, a Canadian fertility clinic and technology firm, has announced a $20M Series A fundraising round, led by Osmington.Â
- Partum Health, a startup specializing in interdisciplinary pregnancy and postpartum support, has successfully raised $3.1M in seed funding led by True Weatlh Ventures.

- According to the National Institute of Health, approximately 10-15% of women of reproductive age have PCOS. The prevalence rate of PCOS is high among Indian women. It is most often diagnosed in women between the ages of 15-44, although it can affect women of any age.

- Millions of women are turning to TikTok for health advice related to gynaecologic cancers, but the majority of that information is misleading or dramatically inaccurate, new research has shown. The study, has found that overall, the quality of the information being shared through TikTok was poor.

- The US menopause telehealth company Winona has announced a new initiative to support menopausal women in the workplace.The corporate wellness programme Winona Corporate Wellness aims to assist businesses in fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for women approaching menopause within their organisations.

- Eli Lilly and Company and POINT Biopharma Global, Inc. announced a definitive agreement for Lilly to acquire POINT, a radiopharmaceutical company with a pipeline of clinical and preclinical-stage radioligand therapies in development for the treatment of cancer.Â
- Cipla Foundation in partnership with National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro-Sciences (NIMHANS) has set up a first-of-its-kind neuro-palliative care unit in Bengaluru. Government News:
- The Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO) has approved five laboratories in the country to test in vitro diagnostics medical devices (IVDMD) used in testing of sickle cell disease in the country.
- The World Health Organization (WHO) has recommended a new vaccine, R21/Matrix-M, for the prevention of malaria in children. The recommendation follows advice from the WHO: Strategic Advisory Group of Experts on Immunization (SAGE) and the Malaria Policy Advisory Group (MPAG) and was endorsed by the WHO Director-General following its regular biannual meeting held on 25-29 September.
